  1. Firstly, reset the Print System. Make sure that your 5544 printer is connected by USB cable.
  2. Uninstall the printer software and drivers.
  3. Embed the Disk permission on your Mac device.
  4. Launch Macintosh to select the Application menu.
  5. Open Applications menu and search for Utilities folder. Open Disk Utility option from utility folder.
  6. Select the Hard Drive that you are using. Verify the disk permission and after that choose Repair Disk Permissions.
  7. Check for the latest Apple Updates from your device.
  8. Go to system preferences and then click on Apple menu.
  9. Choose Update Now option under the Software Update option.
  10. Install the latest updates and after that reset your computer.
  11. Reinstall printer drivers and software which you have uninstalled earlier. Check whether your device function properly or not.
